Frequently Asked Questions

"Cascade Custom Pools Built us the most beautiful pool I could imagine. We couldn't have asked for a better company to work with." - Tom Sawyer

How long as Cool Pools been in business?

Cool Pools started in Houston in 1998 and quickly became a dominant pool builder in the Houston area. Soon after, Cool Pools expanded to the Dallas market and has continued to offer the same, high-quality, custom-built pools they have been known for. In addition, Cool Pools offers stellar customer service and prides themselves on “building relationships one pool at a time.” This is why 85% of Cool Pool’s business is repeat or referral!

Why choose Dallas Cool Pools?

Dallas Cool Pools is not the largest pool builder in the DFW area…and we are satisfied with this fact! Why? Because it gives us the advantage to intimately know each of our customers and build the custom pool they want and deserve. We get to know you, your family, your lifestyle, and what your hopes are in your dream pool. And we take delight in delivering this time and time again to our customers!

How experienced are your construction crews?

Our constructions crews have decades of experience building high-quality, custom pools throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Dallas Cool Pools also specializes in pool renovations which have allowed us to take a look at many pools throughout the area, 10-15+ years after construction. This is an advantage in that we see many of the common problems with pool builds and have developed solutions to prevent some of these issues.

Are you insured?

Although building a new pool is exciting, we must remember this is a major construction project. Although we do not anticipate any major issues, we are fully insured to cover any possible damage that could occur during the construction phase.

How long will it take to build my pool?

Dallas Cool Pools averages approximately 4-6 weeks of actual construction time for every pool we build. A good rule of thumb to use when planning a project is one week construction time for every $7,000 – $8,000 of cost. For example, a $32,000 pool should be complete in 4-5 weeks; a $60,000 pool will take approximately 8 weeks. There are many variables that affect construction time when building a pool; one of the biggest is the weather. Weather not only affects ground conditions but the ability of the crews to complete their respective tasks in the proper sequence. Thorough planning and design can reduce these unexpected delays.

When do I learn to use my pool?

Dallas Cool Pools offers its premier “Pool School” when the construction phase is complete. At this session, a team member of Dallas Cool Pools will meet with you, start up the pool, and check out the system to make sure everything is working properly. Then, you will be walked step by step through each feature to ensure you understand and feel comfortable operating your pool. You will also have access to your representative from Dallas Cool Pools over the months following in case questions arise.
